GCGS Membership

Membership in the GCGS allows us to continue to offer resources to anyone interested in their family history. Your support is crucial to ensure that we maintain our unique holdings for future generations.

The following are benefits to our members:

• Access to members only section of our website where new resources are continually being added.
• Online access to all society newsletters.
• Online access to minutes of business meetings.
• Reduced costs for copies printed from our research room printers.
• Eligibility to vote at our business meetings.
• Knowing they are providing a resource for future generations.

New Memberships

Individual and Family memberships may be purchased online using PayPal or Stripe or by mailing the membership application along with your check (see the JOIN page). Using the PayPal option does not require that you have a PayPal account. Just use the "Pay with Debit or Credit Card" option and decline the offer to create a PayPal account. Then continue as a guest.

Students must join by sending their membership application with the appropriate fee or delivering it to us at the genealogy research room. Neither the online join or the online renewal is available to students.

Memberships can be renewed at any time by logging into your account and clicking on your profile to find the renewal option.

Membership Fees

• Individual: $15.00
• Couple @ same address: $20.00
• Student under age 19: $5.00

Membership Year

Individual and couple memberships are from January 1st through December 31st. Those paying dues during the last quarter of a calendar year will be members through December 31st of the following year.

Student memberships are valid from July 1st through June 30th to ensure that purchase of one membership carries them throughout the school year.
