Welcome to the Gladwin County Genealogical Society Website

The GCGS was formed in 2003 by a small group of enthusiastic folks interested in their family history. They pooled their resources and sought to provide a repository for the items they had gathered. It was their aim to share this collected information and to teach others how to do genealogy. The Society was incorporated in 2012 and applied for and received the 501(c)(3) status as a charitable organization in 2025.
